These mats look and feel great. The color (black) is more of a dark gray than true black, but they still complement my kitchen. The rugs are rolled up and the ruffled edges bothered me at first, but when I laid them down they straightened out nicely. There was a slight plastic smell but it dissipated quickly if left outside. They look like woven fabric. The cushioning is nice and fun to stand on, just like my last mat, which I paid twice as much for. They look larger in the photos than they actually are, so read the measurements carefully. Although it's still beautiful. They seem easy to clean. Basically, I'm satisfied."
