I've tried several other bags that claimed to fit a 17 inch laptop but found they barely fit in one (or not if you use a key), this one could hold 2 laptops, chargers, mice and a couple of laptops - more if I wanted to. The bag is made of quality material, although I ended up removing the handles as I only wanted to use the bag. My only criticism is that the shoulder padding could be better and that the adjustable strap doesn't adjust after a few uses, maybe the metal parts in it have something to do with it.
