Very important!

I have had an awl for several years and these sewing needles fit perfectly. I am not an artist or handyman and only use them to repair camping, camping and outdoor gear, but over time I have never had to repeat repairs be it nylon straps, cotton straps or seam repairs. I've even used them to boost sewing new gear that I found questionable. The right technique is very easy to learn and sewing takes a long time.
