UPDATE. My previous experience with this product was based on the case being on the fan outlet of my desktop computer. When I moved the case to my laptop (no fan) I constantly had trouble ejecting the drive from Windows 10 on its own. This all turned out to be very hot without the fan blowing constantly. I spent about 90 minutes transferring data from hard drive to my laptop. About every 5 minutes it shut down and I had to air it with a card to cool the temperature and then transfer a few more files. Finally, I removed the outer shell to allow air to circulate directly on the card. and repeat. Nightmare. Never before had any other NVME/SATA card enclosure generated such an amount of heat and random shutdown issues. Yes, it's fast, but it only works when the fan is constantly blowing to dissipate heat. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Bought 4 memory modules from different manufacturers and this is by far the best quality and easy memory installation. Map.
