The product is not fireproof. Will NOT hold up in a real fire.

I ordered this after reading many reviews where people claimed it would keep papers dry from the rain when in a backpack or tested the fire resistance with a lighter which is ridiculously unrealistic is. Unless you keep your papers here and keep your bag during a candle light dinner and drop your bag on the candle I can't think of a circumstance where fire resistance would be sufficient. Bag and light a very small fire in the backyard. After a few minutes of fire, not even enough to burn real firewood, all the documents turned to ashes. around the 2 minute mark and everything inside was cooked to nothing. Summary: Unless your biggest fire hazard is someone chasing you with a zip, don't expect this to last on a real fire.
