As a kid I never wore a helmet when riding a bike so I never worried about it with my kids and then my son crashed his bike the Strasse hit him in the head and ended up with a rather nasty concussion that left him 2 weeks. We have bike helmets, but he's 12 and they're not "cool". it is without memory. And the other one we have is his brother. Lesson learned. This helmet is comfortable and looks pretty cool. He got yellow, black would have looked cooler, but his helmet. The face of the skull recedes. At first I thought it looked like a mask and thought it was a horrible idea.
