My local dealer has quoted a repair price of $700.00 to $1300.00. NO! I received my adapter on time and went there to install the adapter in my car. Installation took about 15 minutes after figuring out how to remove the glove box from the dash. Once it was lowered I could clearly see the part and the screws holding it in place. I removed the part, replaced with a new part and put everything back together and it only took 15 minutes. Not only did I save myself $700, but it turned out I was a woman who was "almost 60 years old." The part worked great and now I have air conditioning and heating.
