Poor fit for distributor caps
The distributor cap wobbled and did not sit flat causing engine slippage among other things. It started having problems since I installed it but I figured I had a different issue as Motorcraft is supposed to be such a high quality product. Due to an issue with the distributor cap not fitting flush, I decided to swap it out to see if that made a difference. Sure enough, when I finally went out and bought a really good set, the problem was solved. (Husband of Diana)
