🔥 Motorcraft DH411B Distributor Cap: Superior Performance and Durability for Reliable Ignition Systems Review

I had auto parts from Napa and went back and got spark plugs and wires from Motorcraft along with the rotor knob. Now the truck works much better.

I have been repairing and modifying FORDS for quite some time and the Motorcraft brand cap and rotor I bought here doesn't look like it at all. It's cheap and harmful. I will definitely come again.

I paid 2x more to get the bike and unfortunately I didn't get that. Send it back and order from the dealer. It was packed in a car box, the teeth were unmarked, without numbers or anything else.

As you can see the selected contact post is upside down. always check. before installation, could damage the rotor button on the distributor, if not more, and also cause kickback etc.

This part costs no extra to keep the Motorcraft name and (implicit) quality. Note that the packaging does not say 'made' by Ford, it says 'recommended' by Ford. It's the same cheap warped thin piece of plastic as the other gray ones. It's said to be made in Mexico, not China. Or maybe it was endorsed by Mexico and not made there?

The distributor cap wobbled and did not sit flat causing engine slippage among other things. It started having problems since I installed it but I figured I had a different issue as Motorcraft is supposed to be such a high quality product. Due to an issue with the distributor cap not fitting flush, I decided to swap it out to see if that made a difference. Sure enough, when I finally went out and bought a really good set, the problem was solved. (Husband of Diana)

Spent more money on it because it was supposed to be a Motorcraft product and didn't bother to read the reviews. Needless to say, this thing is worse than the possibly original 228,000 mile model I replaced! Doesn't seat properly and has a series of lags causing the spark to randomly fail completely. I'm throwing away this POS and putting my old one back on until I find a real Motorcraft cap. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACCIDENTALLY BREAK!
