When I first tried them on I agreed they were comfortable, but after wearing them around the house for about an hour I noticed that small bumps in the sole affected the comfort. They are tiny and when you touch them with your hand, they become soft. I took off my shoes and tried again the next day. Unfortunately, they bothered me anyway. I will have to return them. Really disappointed. Someone might mistake it for a massage, but I don't. The straps are easy to adjust, so no problem.
