This snowman is very durable. My dog has been chewing on it for a week. She is able to break off very tiny pieces of the hat, but I still consider it to be durable. This is the best brand for aggressive chewers.

My daughter's dog, Oliver, destroys and eats toys. He also eats socks and anything he can swallow. He had two surgeries before he was even 8 months old because of swallowing things he shouldn't. These toys are the only toys he hasn't been able to destroy, or even chew a piece off. He likes that they squeak when he bites down hard. We're thrilled that he finally has some safe toys to play with and I'll probably order more.

I bought this for my nephew, he’s a American Bully. He can rip through anything within a minute. It’s difficult finding toys that can actually last with this boy. He comes over once a wk so he only gets it for a few hours and he has 2 other toys beside him that he messes with too. It’s lasted so far around 3 weeks. He does chew the pieces off bit by bit and just spits them out but he’s only gotten 1/3 of the way into chewing the toy. So when it comes to him that’s awesome.

The squeaker seems to be a challenge for our dog to get. The ears were off within 30 minutes of playing with it. I got it today. So far the ears are the first casualty.

This chew toy appears well made. However, I was under to impression that you could place treats under or in the mouth section. Not so. The small teeth flaps are flexible enough that one could smear some peanut butter under them. This is a bit cumbersome to do. My dogs are not interested in it without a treat. A dog that likes the "Kong" chews might enjoy this item.

If you have a strong chewer or less, I think this is a good buy (supervise always). The alligator just wasn't meant to be for my Yoshi. He is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix that has managed to destroy many "indestructible" toys in his short 9 months. This toy has been through a lot. Our puppy loves to throw it, chew it, and it’s play tug of war with it. The squeaker broke within a few months but the body of the toy is still holding on.

15 minutes. 15 minutes is all it took for our 3 y/o lab to chew pieces off. He absolutely loves it! A dog that is less of an aggressive chewer would probably love it for a long time. but if you're looking for something that will survive an aggressive chewer. this isn't it.

Unfortunately my pup managed to chew a piece off within 2 days leaving a hole. It's tough and thick material that I was hoping and expecting but my pup just found a corner to really attack and pull at.

I have 2 aggressive chewers and I'm always afraid to spend money on anything other then KONG. But this has held up VERY well with my dogs. They chew on it all the time and no chunks missing.

I rated this a 4 because it is not indestructible but did last longer than some toys that I have bough. I have a pittie so she chews up pretty much everything.

Our girl Lulu absolutely loves this toy she is 55 lb part Pitbull mixed Lab. it's lasted longer than any toy we've had but she has managed to pull some of it a part. would still definitely recommend.

Whenever I give my dog (amstaff lab mix) a new squeaky toy, his mission in life becomes taking out the squeaky part asap and destroying the toy completely. He's not able to do that with this toy so I don't have to worry about needing to take out the squeaky part from his mouth. It's very thick, so it'll last awhile. At least it has for my aggressive chewer.

My Golden Doodle is a chewer. Every toy that squeaks, her first task with the new toy is to remove the squeaky. This toy is super durable. No problem, no mess, no fuss about her swallowing the plastic. Great toy.

The description says this toy is for aggressive chewers, I have to disagree. My 70 lb, 8 month old "aggressive chewer” black lab pup chewed the ear practically off. This toy is very durable! It squeaks with some jaw pressure from a dog. My dog likes it but isn't into playing a lot with it, probably because its difficult for her to get it to squeak. But if your looking for a very durable toy for a dog that has powerful jaws, this toy is great!
