Four Stars for Follow Up/Replacement Toy - This Toy Wasn't for My SUPER AGGRESSIVE Chewer

If you have a strong chewer or less, I think this is a good buy (supervise always). The alligator just wasn't meant to be for my Yoshi. He is a Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier mix that has managed to destroy many "indestructible" toys in his short 9 months. I will say that he really LOVED this toy (some rubber toys he will either love/destroy or won't bother with). However, within less than 10 minutes he was able to chew pieces away. I contacted the sellers for a replacement, and they were very responsive and apologetic. They couldn't send me another one of the same, but offered a different one. I was okay with that. The replacement was a snowman. It was the right toy for Yoshi. He is still playing with it (squeaks without an actual squeaker inside). He hasn't just sat down and chomped on it so it is still in tact. The replacement (so far) has met our goals of Yoshi being interested and playing with the toy while it has lasted more than 15 minutes.P.S. I did let the dog continue to chew on this item while watching him like a hawk for pieces to throw away. He really loved it. Risky move if you aren't going to be intently supervising play. NOTE: Picture of puppy doesn't show him playing with this particular toy, but he's still cute.

Pros
  • This chew toy was for my Boxer. He destroys all his toys, but not this one. He loves this toy.
Cons
  • Not suitable for senior dogs with weakened teeth
