I love not hunching over the bike as much as I don't use it for racing and I sit more comfortably. I still lean forward even at maximum extension, so in many European countries it's not quite like driving a regular commuter bus. Since the steering column is tilted back slightly, the steering wheel also moves backwards a bit, which is fine with me. It was very easy to install by unscrewing a couple of hex head screws. The cap on top of the bars is now held on by a much longer bolt and doesn't need much tightening as it's just a dust cap. I also ordered a set of brake and shifter cables because I knew the brake cables would be too short. The shifter cables on my bike are barely long enough, but they get tight in a tight turn, not the kind you would when riding, but turning the handlebars all the way ties the cables in one direction. I would have even wished for a longer extension, but it was definitely necessary.
