This scrubber has a light lemon scent that is barely noticeable and will disappear after a few uses, but it's a scrubber, not an air freshener. The problem is that it just doesn't work well. You can buy a dozen sponges for the same price that work better than Scrub Daddy. I've had this product for a few months now, and while it's good for pre-washing food off the dishes before putting it in the dishwasher, it doesn't work as well as a nylon-backed pot and pan sponge. If you need to redo something you've already scrubbed with Scrub Daddy, why not just use something that gets the job done the first time. Don't buy this product just because it's cute and has a catchy name.
