These reading glasses easily met my expectations in several areas. First, the half-frames are aluminum, so light. Cutouts at the temples lighten the weight a bit and add a touch of modern style. I ordered version 1.75. The optical quality seems to be quite good, with no edge distortion. Depth of field and depth of field are the same. The overall finish is excellent - I have black anodized frames. The style is a safe, understated modern take on the original Wayfarer style, but in a semi-frame. Suitable for any face shape of any gender. They're quite comfortable, thanks in part to the spring-loaded temples and light weight. No noticeable eye fatigue when I wear them for 3 hours, 2 or 3 times a day. All in all, this is a great return. I haven't seen any serious competition in this price range.
