I didn't know what to think when I ordered, but now I walk 3-5 hours a day in any terrain and weather, so I decided on the price that i would i would try them and i'm glad i did. They work well for my fairly wide flat feet and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I've had no problems with them slipping through wet leaves etc and they definitely stand up to my more expensive, more traditional tennis shoes. I didn't need to break them in, they feel light and I can wear them comfortably with regular socks or with medium weight wool socks on colder days - the elastic at the top means the fit is pretty good either way. As a bonus, I don't mind wearing them with less "sporty" clothes - they're not business casual, but they don't look totally out of place with colored jeans etc. I'll probably look into other colors.
