It was very easy to install and after tightening it feels solid. Although the instructions aren't great, the mount is pretty basic and not difficult to understand just by looking at it. There are still some parts left as it fits a variety of projectors. So don't worry if you have the parts in the box when you're done. I installed the Viewsonic PJ550 with no problems.
