Overall they're well priced and you get what you pay for. I believe the price is reasonable for the quality of the product you will receive. I haven't been able to wear them in the field and rubbed them a bit so I'll update my review accordingly. The actual "camouflage" material on the front of the product is unfortunately not ripstop and doesn't appear to be very durable, similar to a nylon/cotton blend, but I'm not sure. If I were going through dense thickets and thorns I would expect them to be torn apart fairly quickly and I'll update based on my experience. The camouflaged part appears relatively faded as if washed 100 times. I'm sure mud rollers would help with concealment, but they work with OCP/Multicam pant legs. All the stitching seems to be done in one stitch and the actual knee pad seems to be attached to the fabric padding with some kind of pressed button. ? I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but it seems relatively safe, but I'm sure I can take it off. Knee protection is relatively shippable but definitely protects as intended. The dark brown protector will scratch badly with use as I can scratch it with my fingernail. The back straps are decent and don't seem to change length easily during use. The upper part, which runs through the thigh, is elastic and greenish, while the calf strap is quite hard and yellowish-brown. There is velcro at the end of the strap to "attach" the extra piece of strap to itself, but I'll probably just cut mine to fit and glue the rest. When wearing an OCP, you still have access to your waist pack with a waist strap that covers about a half inch of the lower waist pack. My guess is that different pant sizes will likely have different impacts on pocket coverage. The knee pads nest well inside each other and have a fairly low profile when stored in a backpack/bag. They can be smoothed out with a post saver. Overall comfort seems decent and they don't seem to want to twist or fall too much. I wouldn't use them but for digging in the field they are a decent knee brace.
