Bought a year ago after reading reviews. Lots of noise/squeak complaints after a short while. I bought two of these as there aren't many options. These are very expensive fans made right here in America. Unfortunately, the quality of the motor used is below average. American companies need to strengthen and improve their products. I would not recommend this fan. For the money this is a plagiarism! Update: 9/26/20 Sometimes I run these fans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The creaking comes and goes. Sometimes they don't squeak for days. To be honest they have been running for hundreds of hours. You are still working. So if the creaking doesn't bother you, they seem to last a couple of years at least. will be updated in a few years.
