Not Great - RV Parts & Accessories

Great fan, moves tons of air. A nice feature is that you can keep the vent covered and use it as a ceiling fan. By far its best feature is the ability to use it in the rain and not worry about water getting in. I just wish the whole block was black. The top of the device is smoky, but when it's removed, the bottom is completely white. We stood between a fantastic rain sensing fan and this model and are glad we chose it. My cheap fan of no-name brands survived this piece of junk. Customer…

Sounds like a family of crickets

Bought a year ago after reading reviews. Lots of noise/squeak complaints after a short while. I bought two of these as there aren't many options. These are very expensive fans made right here in America. Unfortunately, the quality of the motor used is below average. American companies need to strengthen and improve their products. I would not recommend this fan. For the money this is a plagiarism! Update: 9/26/20 Sometimes I run these fans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The creaking comes and…

The Maxxair Deluxe fan seemed like an easy task: buy a fan. Everything was good. And then, no more than six months later, the fan started to die out. It will beep 30 times along with a flashing green light. This could have happened for no apparent reason: suddenly at 3am or at takeoff. After further research, it is believed that this indicates a voltage issue. However, I connected this fan to a voltage regulator that provides the 12V net nominal voltages required by the fan. **UPDATE** I was…

Bane of the green light Suitable for ventilation

2 years and five months from the date of purchase, which is outside the two-year warranty. Installed and used for less than two years but has been told it doesn't matter. Hardly used but recently it beeps, stops working, turns green and closes at random times. It can run for hours or a few seconds and needs to be powered off to reset. Good when it works, but unreliable. Look at the green light curse and you'll see I'm not alone. It took forever to finally speak to the tech. He said to check the

Great fan replacement/upgrade

Bought a Forest River camper with a front bedroom that only had an air vent over the bed. Goed through the installation instructions (PDF is available on the Airxcel website but Revain does not allow the URL to be posted), removed the trim ring from the existing vent, found the required 14" hole with the expected wiring and dropped the hammer fall when purchasing the Maxxair 7500K. Arrived on time. It took about 90 minutes to carefully remove the existing dicor from the fan roof flange by…
