Hardly used but recently it beeps, stops working, turns green and closes at random times. It can run for hours or a few seconds and needs to be powered off to reset. Good when it works, but unreliable. Look at the green light curse and you'll see I'm not alone. It took forever to finally speak to the tech. He said to check the voltage on the control board to see if I have a power problem or the board is defective. He said it was either one or the other and he would send me a new board if the voltage was right. Pain in the ass to check out but was ok. Still a long wait before the tech finally called back but got another tech. He said the board was fine and I needed a new motor - $87 and stock. I don't risk it, I don't do it. I will probably buy a different brand. Too bad seems like a good fan but $300 for less than two years of very infrequent use?
