I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Bought for home use. In case of problems with the power supply at the input of the router and NAS, I installed an uninterruptible power supply with protection for the network wire.

Pros
  • Stable high performance device. Smart home devices, phones, laptops are connected via Wi-Fi. By wire NAS, home theater, TV, PC, set-top box, 10 ethernet ports, at the moment I have 9 occupied (it's strange that other manufacturers do not release devices with similar parameters, and therefore there are no competitors). Everything works great. Before buying, I was afraid that I would have to dig into the settings. In fact, everything turned out to be very simple, I entered the login and password from the Rostelecom provider, set the password for the admin panel and wifi. All on one simplified screen. Everything took off. RouterOS is great! There is nothing superfluous in the package, all sorts of useless books and other things. The device is worth the money.
Cons
  • No

I like it, thanks for the quality product.

A good and balanced device. Expensive. But there is simply no real alternative on the market in terms of the opportunity / price ratio today. If there was USB, it would be perfect. Only for his absence - 4 stars.

Pros
  • 1. This is Mikrotik - flexible configuration, all the features of RouterOS. 2. You can set up ANY whims in terms of work and traffic routing. 3. Ports with custom PoE (all). 4. Simply crazy speed of work in tandem with 1GB of RAM makes it possible to realize any fantasies. 5. IPSec hardware acceleration, which allows you to raise your own VPN server with great features. 6. Large Wi-Fi transmitter power on both bands, long range and stable connection.
Cons
  • 1. The absence of a USB port, both in the form of a connector and even in the form of pins on the board. With such hardware characteristics of the device, the lack of USB (neither a backup LTE modem nor a printer can be connected) is a frank miscalculation of the developers. 2. Strong heating of the device even in the absence of load. I have it installed in a street shield, where +10 is maintained (in order to avoid condensation), even at this air temperature it is warm. For comparison, Mikrotik RB2022 did not heat up at all in the same shield at full load. 3. The main disadvantage is the price.

WinBox provides a mouse-based configuration interface for those who prefer not to utilize consoles. Excellent router for tech-savvy home or office.

Pros
  • Powerful transmitters penetrate two layers of reinforced concrete and WiFi 5Ghz has been patched and is functioning perfectly on firmware 6.45.9 lts. Locally stored data allows for port/queue-based graph building.
Cons
  • Passive dac cables are not compatible with the SFP+ port. Ports eth1–eth5 and eth6–eth10 are split between two switches, with a maximum throughput of 2.5 Gbit/s between them.

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

Acquired, installed, and set up properly. Everything is in order, and I was enjoying my life up to the point where I started having troubles. The temperature is really high, and it happens to him that there are times when it does not suit me at all. He freezes. Yes, it freezes up so frequently that Winbox can't even be accessed; it's virtually difficult to use. And everything looks to be running smoothly, as the lights are on and there are no obvious problems. It needs to be restarted with the…

Pros
  • 10 Gigabit ports plus SFP. Good WiFi. A varied assortment of environments. The processing of packets occurs quite quickly.
Cons
  • Because houses thrive in warm environments, the temperature is quite high. Temperatures range from 45 to 48 degrees Celsius. No USB port.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

This company is taken by those who know about it or want to learn something. Its pros: Everything can be customized as much as possible. There is dual band wifi. 8 gigabit ports. Metal case, used as a heatsink. Its cons: It gets a little warm, but that's okay too. Put the fan from usb and norms. Dusty right? )

Not a bad buy, well worth the money.

Hot. You will need to acquire a module in order to use a 10Gb port. Once you have the module, you will be able to issue 10Gb data over a standard 5e cable. I'm OK to go at 2 meters; I don't require any more. It is possible to set up a single WiFi network that supports many access points; I am able to do this with my older Mikrotik router. In a residence made entirely of reinforced concrete, this is an extremely helpful choice. With these benefits: 1. You have practically complete control over…

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

At idle, the temperature is 48 degrees Celsius; with POE power and POE return, the temperature is 51 degrees Celsius. The problem could only be fixed by restarting the interface, but it did occur on 5G occasionally and a couple of times. During such instances, the network was visible but did not distribute IP addresses. A couple of dozen devices on the radio, several IPSec tunnels with hardware encryption, and so on are all examples of how my needs have otherwise been satisfactorily met without

Pros
  • Capabilities and technical aspects of ROS.
Cons
  • Quite hot, with a 48C idle temperature. WiFi 5G is only occasionally serviced.

I am, as usual, delighted with Mikrotik. If the hands are in the correct position, the clock will function just as designed. I have a reasonably robust wifi network at home that I set up with cap ac and a capsman controller, and travelling is trouble-free. Also, I feel it important to highlight the reasonable price of this apparatus; in comparison to other x-links, it is far cheaper. The benefits include: - 10 GbE ports The CAPsMAN software controller enables the creation of a unified wifi…

During normal operation, the temperature rises to an acceptable level. It is probably fine for him, but it is pretty uncomfortable to take hold of the body by hand when it is heated to between 45 and 50 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, this appears to be his typical temperature, as far as I can tell. Concerning the Wi-Fi connection, it is unreliable. Ensure that the module settings are configured to enable the region: 2022 option. In general, there are numerous of them; by enumeration, choose one

Pros
  • Excellent machine. It works wonderfully, and there are no issues. You won't run into any issues if you start up two different providers and use failover to switch between them. If you also happen to have another ac2 hanging about somewhere, you can still use that as a second gateway with LTE. Rostelecom's IPv6 support is excellent and easy to use. Gets an address as well as a prefix that can be given to devices that are located internally. Setting up an IPv6 network using MGTS is an exercise in futility because it is not possible. However, this varies depending on the provider. They utilize a dual stack that is configured in a single location.
Cons
  • No USB port is built in. It gets substantially hotter as time goes on.

When I purchased this equipment, my intention was to enhance the quality of the wifi connection; instead, the connection has remained the same :-). The 5 GHz frequency is handled faultlessly by the combination of this and hab ac, which is compatible with it. Although a lot of time has gone since the release of the MikroTik RB4011iGS + 5HacQ2HnD-IN and people write about this problem to the Mikrotik support service, the situation has not changed even with the release of new versions, and I hope…

Cons
  • I do not recommend purchasing it for those of you who are thinking about using it as a wifi access point, specifically wifi ac. The fact of the matter is that the wifi module, which functions at a frequency of 5 GHz, is turned off at regular intervals. The reason for this is still not quite obvious; people have been discussing it on Western forums, but Mikrotik has remained silent. The firmware version is the most recent available, 6.44.3 (Stable). It can get quite warm, so I had to take some extra precautions to keep myself cool.

From a previous review, but fully applicable "When I set up my first microt, I had no idea what I was facing, I was fussing for a couple of days and now I'm sure that I won't want anything for a long time but it, very flexible settings, a lot of possibilities in an unsightly box, A The MAIN thing from desire to receive new knowledge and new opportunities. If YOU want to install it and not delve into all its processes, but be sure of the stability of the work, invite a specialist, he will set…

Pros
  • The stability of this device, up to 800 Mbit (maybe it will pull more, I haven’t tried it), it works quietly, it pulls 4 wired devices, two laptops via Wi-Fi and five smartphones on Android, it doesn’t slow down (the download of the processor is no more than 5-10%).
Cons
  • From the previous review, about the model "MikroTik hEX PoE" "If YOU have never dealt with MikroTik products, then at first it will be difficult to set up and configure everything, but be patient, it's worth it, BELIEVE." And a couple more minuses, NO BEEPER, although this is probably the norm, the temperature of the case without load is quite high in my opinion, I didn’t dare to put it in the cabinet, winbox showed 43 but to the touch over 60 (I had to play around and improvise, I partially solved the problem with a radiator from the old PC and thermal paste and the temperature fell to ~ 35-37 according to the sensations of the hand) and the third minus the Wi-Fi power is too high, lowered it in the settings .

Today 06/13/2022 An expensive router is not worth the money (for home use) ! I do not recommend buying for home! For the office, it's not even a bad router. I will issue my return. I bought it only because of 5GHz, currently I use Mikrotik 2022UiAS-2HnD-IN, it has been working for 10 years and there are no problems, but 5GHz is not enough. I will look for another router!

Pros
  • They just don't exist!
Cons
  • Very Hot (can be used as a heating battery in winter) 5 GHz operates within a radius of 4 meters any obstacle in the form of a door, the signal drops or completely disappears

The product sucks and the quality is horrible.

There are 2022 and 951 series routers in operation and there has never been such a problem. I also recently purchased a 4011 router with wifi support for work, tested it for a week on 3 PCs and did not notice any problems with the device, according to the logs everything is normal, then we connected 7 PCs to it and in the logs I began to notice messages about interfaces on / off. Wifi works well, coverage is good.

Pros
  • I bought it at home, in general, good functionality, easy to set up, the coverage area and connection speed suits.
Cons
  • Problems with interfaces, constantly on / off. I tried to ate the firmware to stable, the beta situation has not changed. I thought there was a problem with patch cords, I replaced it, but the situation did not improve anyway. And 45-46 degrees are still heated, the body is hot.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

After the quicksetap, Wi-Fi 5grz caught very weakly Started poking around in the settings and did the following 1. Set Frequency to 5200 manually (you can scan free ranges and it is desirable to set a minimum value so that clients can find it) 2. Country-united states 3. Band 5GHz-only-AC 4. Channel Width 20/40/80MHz XXXX 5. Tx Power Mode (via advance mod) all rates fixed 6. Tx Power 29dBm The Reset button is disabled by default and to enable it you need to get into the system settings…

Pros
  • Flexibility Does not buggy, does not freeze, Wi-Fi does not fall off (I use 3 days) After setting up via wifi up to 860 Mbps at a distance of 3 meters, through load-bearing walls from 320 to 580 Mbps They say that MUMIMO will soon appear with firmware, tell me, do you need to turn it on somehow or will it work by itself? The firmware version from the factory is 6.45.9 (maybe one of the fresh ones), ated to 6.48.3 and configured Bought for 13700
Cons
  • until revealed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

The operating temperature of the device is about 46 degrees. Stable operation of both WiFi modules on the latest versions of RouterOS. The quality of MikroTik, as usual. Installed, configured, and forgotten. The most important thing is to ate the version of RouterOS in time to close possible vulnerabilities (nothing is perfect). If you want reliability, take it boldly. Setting up any Mikrotik equipment requires appropriate knowledge and skills. If there are none, improve your skills, or invite…

Pros
  • Non-failure operation of MikroTik vendor equipment. Execution quality. The ability to connect an SFP module that will offload the operation of the device. Built-in IPSec hardware encryption module, which also reduces the load on the processor.
Cons
  • For me, they are not, because I knew what I was taking, and for what purposes.

If someone does not like the strength of the WiFi signal, try setting no_country_set and manual_txpower in the Wireless tab in Adwanced mode. It seems to me that it is simply impossible to load it at home. With it, my network ran many times faster than on previous Zyxel and Asus - samba access to my NAS based on Raspberry pi 4 became just lightning fast, but I thought it was a slow raspberry)

Pros
  • Performance WIFI stability and power on both bands 10 gigabit ports, one with PoE Features of RouterOS. You can do whatever your heart desires. Stable work Rises very quickly Modest dimensions
Cons
  • Hellishly bright blue diode, shines at night like a lantern. I have a router in the room and interferes with sleep) After the initial setup, the devices clung to WiFi for a long time, I decided to flash it through NetInstaller, which only bothered to upload the firmware when I ran it in Windows 7 compatibility mode. hot o_o The problem with the satellite set-top box, which clings to the Internet via WiFi and receives the keys, remains unresolved so far - it takes a very long time to connect to the service, it cannot receive data in any way. Judging by Torch iterates over the server ports until it finds the right one. This was not the case with the old waffle. From the phone if I distribute - everything is ok. At the same time, there is an Internet connection, pings from the set-top box are coming.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

I took one customer to the apartment. I could not convince him that for an apartment you can take a simpler microta! The signal is blaring all over the floor! Under the most extreme loads, the CPU load rarely rises above 3 percent! Even so, this is a microt for an average office and not for an apartment, although it has not enough ports for an office! Personally, I build networks in offices with other microt models

Pros
  • This is a top micro! Mega powerful processor! Wifi just burns through the walls!
Cons
  • Price

Dissatisfied with this product, bad to use.

Bought 4 of these pieces for office work. Very good fast router: GRE + Ipsec, OSPF, VLAN, CapsMAN tunnels are up Unfortunately, one instance works stably only if you auto-reboot every day, the second and third require a reboot once a week. Only the fourth one works stably (the configs are the same for everyone). I won't buy these again. If you want to save money, then take a stable 3011 or 2022 with Wi-Fi. I will continue to buy CCR-1009. they are really very stable and hassle free.

Pros
  • Good, powerful fast Wi-Fi Performance characteristics are mind-blowing in this money, almost Mikrotik CCR
Cons
  • Unstable on any firmware. Now I'm using 6.46.4 Hangs on 3 of the purchased 4 pcs.

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

I decided to purchase this device after many years of friendship with Keenetic Ultra. So I live in an apartment building, there is a littering of the air with a zoo of various Wifi devices. At some point, my keenetik stopped coping, which was expressed by constant dumps and Wifi plugs. At first I sinned on the fatigue of the router, but after transferring it to a country house, it became clear that the problem was somewhat different. After purchasing Mikrotik RB4011iGS + 5HacQ2HnD-IN and…

Pros
  • Reliable, powerful, functional, fast. Quad core processor (1.4GHz) Hardware IPsec RAM: 1GB ROM: 512MB 10 gigabit ports SFP+ port 10 Gbps PoE on port 10 Wifi: dual band 2.4GHz with MIMO 2x2 support, and 5GHz MIMO 4x4 Based on Linux RouterOS

Excellent router. For sysadmins

You don't buy MikroTik hardware, you buy their software. Level 4 license with this router. RouterOS is a commercial software solution. I configured my router as a wifi station on 5ghz and disabled 2.4ghz with static ips for 4 computers on an ethernet network and a wifi router with 2 phones. That was definitely an improvement - the download speed tripled. MikroTik is not for those who never want to learn about iptables and NAT. Or those who don't use the command line every day. If you want to…

  • Looking forward to
