Great fan, moves tons of air. A nice feature is that you can keep the vent covered and use it as a ceiling fan. By far its best feature is the ability to use it in the rain and not worry about water getting in. I just wish the whole block was black. The top of the device is smoky, but when it's removed, the bottom is completely white. We stood between a fantastic rain sensing fan and this model and are glad we chose it. My cheap fan of no-name brands survived this piece of junk. Customer support doesn't respond, but that's not surprising. save your money
