I bought this HP Chromebook to replace a 4 year old Toshiba. I bought it on Prime Day. While Toshi continued to perform well, the Windows PC side of my mind was telling me it was time for new hardware. The specifications of this HP Chromebook meant that performance would match or exceed Toshiba. and Prime Day's price seemed like a steal. When I got HP, the fit and finish was very good, and as expected from a Chromebook, installation was a breeze. I ran a series of benchmark tests and all the results for HP were way better than a 4 year old Chromebook. BUT. after 21 days of actual use. HP left me unsatisfied. My clearest example? Never. Is always. Not once. I've never been able to open HP to wake it up and have it accept my password on the first try. EVERYONE. SINGLE. TIME. I opened HP, it required TWO passwords to unlock. This is outdated. Quickly. Today, 3 weeks later, I took out the Toshiba and fired it up. While the Toshi didn't exactly "give me joy," it definitely showed that it was a better machine than the HP. So HP is in the box and ready to ship to UPS to ship back to Revain. Whether HP is your 1st or 5th. Don't buy this. That's a NO from me.
