Love the cup holder mounts. Every car has at least one cup holder. The cup holder brackets fold out easily and are easy to remove and hide when you want to leave the car. The cup holder is often placed in a low position, protected from the sun and glare. For me, the front cup holder on the center console next to the dash is the perfect spot for the sat nav. It is seen not only by me but also by my passenger. I once made the mistake of using a vent mount. Bad idea! It scratched the vent and completely blocked one of the air conditioner vents. It's not cool - literally. Because this mount gives you a secure place to mount the suction cup mount that comes with almost every GPS sold, you already have everything you need to enjoy this product. The base of this mount opens wide to fit almost any cup holder. So if you don't have drink holders that can hold triple-sized sips, this should work for you. An annoying detail: sometimes I want to take the GPS and rotate it a little. . This usually causes the top of the mount to twist. (Turning the top of the mount opens and closes the pieces that hold the inside of the cup holder.) I can't think of an easy fix to this problem. It would be nice if the mount resisted a little twisting or had a locking lever or release button. Keep this in mind in case the urge to rotate your GPS causes the mount to detach and fall to the ground. You really don't want that thing under the brake pedal, so always make sure it's secure in your cup holder.
