Review on Efficient Bobbin Winding Made Easy with the DMC 6104 Bobbin Winder by Carrie Spencer

A bobbin winder is a useful product when you have bobbins with holes in the right place. I compared the spool that came with the winder to the spool in the storage box. The hole on the spool is much closer to the edge. As it turned out, there were holes punched in the coils at various locations. Only the holes near the edge fit on the winder. I have bobbins that match the winder. The other coils I have have to be wound by hand - defeating the purpose of buying a winder. Solution: The manufacturer should increase the depth from the winder bore to the winder body. This would allow coils with holes of different depths to be used. I have a photo of the coils next to it.
