Review on Custom Multicolor Light Up Protective 🎮 Dock Shield for Nintendo Switch - PDP Gaming by Dave Wheeler

We bought this for our 14 year old son to install on the Nintendo Switch dock. He begged and we gave in. He has Zelda/Mario Odyssey records. So the worst part is removing the blue protective film from both sides of each panel. Thanks to the other reviewers for their comments on the film! Nowhere on the packaging or in the instructions does it say that a film needs to be removed. I was able to easily remove the film from one side of each panel. The other sides were much more difficult. light sides. I just went to the corner and ran my fingernail across it and it lifted a little but just enough to peel the foil off. harder side. I started using my nails but to no avail. After about 5 minutes, trying to remove the remaining blue film from each panel, I grabbed the cuticle nippers and opened them up. Then I very gently ran the tip of one side of the scissors over the corner and miraculously it worked! You will NOT get any colors until you remove the blue film from both sides of each panel. Even though the foil is difficult to remove, I still gave this 5 stars. (They should have a pull tab on each side - that's the only way to make this product better). Once you remove the foil, the colors show up beautifully. It is very easy to install and very easy to set your color or rotate the color. Our son is happy and so are we. You will not be disappointed with this product. It's worth the price!
