Review on Wireless Touch Keyboard with Easy Media Control πŸ“Ί and Built-In Touchpad for TV - Logitech K400 Plus by Colleen Wilson

This version of "Professional " is just blackmail. The older models are much better.

This version of "Professional" is just money extortion. The older models are much better. I have been using the K400 and K400r for many years now. My issue with the K400r is that it replaces the K400 and makes unnecessary changes like standard F-keys for media keys. You need software to change this behavior. The K400 Professional was the answer. It had the default F-key behavior and looks sharper than the other two models. This is where the pros end. The touchpad has terrible sensitivity compared to the K400 or K400r. The Page Up and Page Down keys are half the size to make room for a larger Right Shift key. The most disappointing aspect of this keyboard is the touchpad. The buttons are not as responsive as on older models. If you simply drag with a physical button, a touchpad will fail after a few pixels and the button will start clicking randomly as the cursor moves. Also, forget anything that requires you to double-click and drag something with the touchpad without using any buttons. It just doesn't. I've tested several apps and drag and drop doesn't work like that. It looks like Logitech decided to release this product in black, change the F-keys to default behavior, call it the Pro version, and charge $40 while making it totally useless and non-professional version is far inferior. Skip this and get the K400r and use the Setpoint software to change the behavior of the F-keys.
