I bought this device because it fits in my tool bag on the go. All functions seem to be working properly. Automatic detection works perfectly. However, there are also disadvantages: * The frequency meter is limited to 7.5 kHz. I have a slightly more expensive meter that can measure in MHz. Not sure why this one is so limited. * Significant delay in buzzer sound during continuity test. The delay is just under a second.* The display and backlight are a bit dim.* Runs on AAA batteries. Somewhat, but personally I prefer gauges that accept the more common AA or even 9 volts. It's still a decent gauge, but there are better ones on the market for a few bucks more. EDIT: Updated, added photo. The manufacturer replied and explained that the meter can read up to 10 kHz. So I put it on a function generator to narrow down the actual frequency range. Unfortunately, the meter stops registering a frequency reading around 8.145 kHz.
