lowest price cable I could find, does the job. The tighten-down screws on the plug are more rubbery rather than plastic and gave me some trouble. Not knurled properly with grooves to use your fingers and screw drivers mash up the slot.3 stars for that, 4 stars for electronic function based on value, price.

Pros

This is a passive cable that requires a DP++ port (DisplayPort++). cable can only pass signal from DisplayPort to DVI port. This is not a bi-directional cable.

Cons

May not offer enough contrast or brightness for some users
