Don't believe the chart
The dimensions of plumbing are confusing. I needed a 3/8 inch pipe coupling. The chart for this item shows that these couplings are nominally 1/2 inch (ND) and will fit 3/8 inch OD tubing. Incorrect. These couplings are 5/8" diameter and will fit 1/2" OD (5/8" OD) tubing. I ordered these 1/2" couplings based on the chart and now realize they are NOT actually 3/8" coupling sizes. Will not work with 3/8" pipe (actually 1/2" OD). Sure, that's confusing, but the chart is misleading at best and really wrong.
