First, I have a single 12" Pioneer subwoofer with a 300W dual amp, and the amp is actually bolted to the side of my subwoofer. was much larger than I expected and at first I thought I would place it just below on the same page, but unfortunately it turned out to be too big. I installed it on the other side of the accessory box and it fits in just as perfectly. Two more cables run through the back of the subwoofer. Also, the ugly sticker is on a high-quality plastic sheet that can be easily cut off, leaving you with just a shiny silver cylinder It comes with crappy plastic mounts, but I didn't expect much. They seemed firm enough for my liking and I plan on using them until they fail. Now to the capacitor itself. After the physical installation I went and first grounded this suction cup and then started charging it using the included resistor.rs didn't show up for about two minutes and I started to worry that I had a defective product got when they flashed! I charged it to about 9.6 volts where it couldn't rise I'm higher with the resistance and then I just plugged in the power cord which caused it to skip the last 2.4 volts which shouldn't be a problem for the capacitor . I turned on my stereo and played some heavy bass rap. My subwoofer used to "wobble" or vibrate when hitting really strong bass notes, now I know it was a lack of power. Now it hits the notes perfectly and smoothly. If you're connecting a small amp to a subwoofer, a capacitor should help your sound (I've had no issues with the strobe), but if you have an amp that will give the subwoofer enough power to peak at those tones. you probably won't need it. This case has definitely improved the sound of my system and now makes me want more powerful speakers so that the mids and highs can match the bass! I've only had it for a week but it doesn't drain the battery and helps the sound. If it's broken or blows on me I'll update my review. Advantages: CHEAP Better sound (low-power systems) Less alternator and battery voltage. Ease of installation. Supplied with brackets and resistance. Can help with a flash. two subwoofers from a less powerful amp, it's a great investment and you'll hear it right from the start.
