Impeller explodes best in HVAC fans and circulators

Well, that won't be long. The reviews that mentioned these demolitions weren't jokes. It worked for me for about 6 days and it accidentally broke and stalled the motor. It is positive that the engine fails elegantly after the bridging. No fire hazard. The plastic mount doesn't melt, so I'd say it contains a wax thermal fuse. The motor now draws no current. When he worked he was a little weak, but not bad. Pretty quiet, nothing rattles. Very smooth rotation. I'd say it was around 155 CFM based on other fans I've used in the past. I figured if it arrived on time for shipping it would be good to go. Turns out it randomly breaks while running! As you can see from my photos, the impeller broke just above the two injection holes molded in plastic. This can be a general defect. :(It is noteworthy that the fan was inserted and never moved, touched or bumped in any way after work. I ran it vertically, the exit was straight up. The fan's only job was to provide a very to create directional airflow that blows the ribbons - for props in the store.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION – Simply attach the exhaust and intake system mounting flange with locking tabs, no tools or screws required; The casing, even the impeller and blades, can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
