This is a new, unused disc.
The drive is shipped in a brown box sealed in a standard anti-static bag. First I tested the drive with a Crystal Disc. It showed that it had been launched twice before and had only run for a few minutes. There is also no evidence that the label has been tampered with to hide the 'refurbished' sticker etc. So it really is a new disc, not a remanufactured one. About 750MB of data (photos and videos) was copied to it and not a single error. I tested different videos and photos to make sure they are not corrupted and everything is fine. The drive is also very quiet. It's installed in the outer casing of a portable Sabret drive, and the drive barely felt warm after hours of loading data. I would buy this again. Great price for a quality Toshiba drive.
