You will not be disappointed

My review is for the Syba Sonic SD-DAC63057 24bit 96KHz USB 2.0 device (the one with the big handle on top). Big. - Windows 7 automatically recognized the devices and installed the appropriate drivers (< 2 minutes) - The device was displayed correctly on playback devices. A: It's a bit unique. The device has two "presetsโ€, so to speak. Adjusting to the treble marker (T) emphasizes the high frequencies (ghost), and adjusting to the bass marker emphasizes the bass much more. I'll stick with "direct" which is exactly what you would expect. Sound Quality: - No crackling or popping - I noticed NO hissing (on soft tracks/soft strings or woodwinds etc.) even at maximum volume. ) - Superb clear sound - "Push" or "Boost" neither frequency - Overclocks headphones well (ATH-M50x / MDR v6 etc.) - On all headphones I've tried with this unit, the Sound clear, full and the soundstage is great. - Unlike some other devices that go overboard with the processing, this device has NO super spatial/3D-like processing to interfere with critical listening/mixing. - Compared to my built-in sound card, listening through it is a pleasure because of the excellent resolution and detail: the full spectrum is less muddy, low frequencies are well defined, the instrument separation is perfect - the overall detail and resolution is a huge improvement over any simple one integrated audio circuit. An absolute gem for the price.
