Don't be cheap, get the original.

1. There is a sticker that needs to be peeled off the screen, but it's on the inside. I didn't notice that until I had completely assembled the case. This is where the problem begins. You cannot remove this case again. It took three people to remove it and now two of the prongs are broken and the casing won't hold up at all.2. The little stand is very finicky and it's almost impossible to see anything upright as you have to spend an hour figuring out exactly what angle it stays upright. Note that it is not in the center of the case in a horizontal position. That too is unstable. And let's not forget that resuming that stance is an absolute pain until you break it. 3. That little handle on the back looks great, but it's actually the one that gets in the way the most. A friend warned me and I thought it would be helpful because I would use it. I use that. Often. I do not like it. It's just generally in the wrong place to hold comfortably.4. I have a stylus that turns on with a light touch at the end (no button, literally a touch). So I figured I'd prefer the handle on the back. I end up accidentally turning it on all the time, now I can't see the light that tells me it's on. If you keep your pen there and use it a lot like I do, you will DESTROY your case very quickly. Have you ever noticed a small silicone case covering the charging port on your phone? It breaks and falls off pretty quickly, doesn't it? Same idea here. I've only had this case for a few weeks and use my iPad at school every day. After removing the handle, I pull the silicone out of the back of the handle and put it back in. I was gentle, I promise; I was already aware that silicon is destroyed wherever it is heavily used. All in all a disappointing purchase. Better than my last case which was a basic silicone case but would have been better to only spend $80 on a real Otterbox and it would have lasted longer.

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Somewhat repairable
