Really well made outlet

This unit is well built and has some great features like dual switches that allow me to turn off some of the test units that don't require a long warm up time with a single switch, this allows me to keep my frequency standard on GPS based and keep NTP server enabled on the other side. Judging by the design of the case, it's obvious that this isn't a cheap outlet that's going to be used once a week (or days). The body of the device consists of a pair of connected U-shaped aluminum profiles - the top and bottom, which slide together to form the body. Two profiles are riveted to the floor for safety. The end caps are made of molded plastic and are secured to the extrusions with tamper evident screws. These caps have slots for wall mounting. The sockets look well made and hold the electrical plug pins properly. All of the outlets were wired correctly (unlike the one I bought from another supplier and used for two years before discovering that the hot and neutral parts were wired backwards! Needless to say, I used every one I buy now, test). marked "Off" and "Reset" meaning they are resettable circuit breakers, although I'm not sure if they are. In addition to the switches, there is a separate resettable circuit breaker for both groups of outlets. A couple of issues: First, the surge protection is only 300J, which is just not enough to protect the electronics adequately, and there's no indicator to let you know the protection is still working on the outlet for my purposes. Second, even though I knew this from the seller's description from the start, I'll mention it anyway. The 1.65 inch center distance for the outlets is indeed wider than many outlets. (And ALL outlets are spaced farther apart, not just a few of them.) However, it's still too narrow to plug a pair of commonly used 12v and 5v 2 amp adapters side-by-side. They must be installed in alternate slots. (For comparison, a standard 2-post electric box has a center-to-canter distance of about 1.8 inches.)
