This router seemed fantastic at first. I connected it to my AT&T UVerse and set all my devices to use it. Everything worked much faster than on the AT&T provided router. However, this week when I tried to connect my PS4, the PS4 kept saying it couldn't connect to the WIFI network. I restarted the PS4 and got the same message. After restarting the AC4000 router, the PS4 was able to connect to WiFi, but the speed was so slow that I couldn't do anything. Just trying to browse the Playstation Store was tedious as each image took minutes to load. Last night my stepson reminded me that his TV needs to be connected to a new network with Youtube. I tried to connect it and it took forever but finally connected. However, YouTube was useless. It just went round and round. I went back to the router and restarted it. It does not matter. I reconnected his TV to the AT&T router and it worked. This morning all my devices either didn't see the WiFi network or when connected to the AC4000 they didn't get any download speeds at all. On my phone this morning the 900Mbps/900Mbps connection showed 6Mbps/1.2Kbps. My desktop computer, which is hard-wired to the router, works fine at full speed. This behavior is consistent with what some of the other 1 star reviews on here say. This device's WiFi chip seems to fail after a while. I'll return it and get ASUS or Netgear.
