Tracker works fine for the first time but crashes

***UPDATE August 19, 2022***Rating changed from 5 stars to 4 stars. Using the tracker is great when it works (5 stars). Sometimes an app gets pinned in one location, stays there and doesn't update the location. After testing different locations with the tracker outdoors, testing the tracker off/rebooting, and testing the tracker with Bluetooth connected, the pet's location updated and everything stayed the same, indicating it's an app error and not a device error. Here's what I did to fix the problem: 1) Uninstall the software (Your profile should still be saved; you just need to log into the app again) 2) Place the GPS device in the connected charger to charge it 3) Turn on the GPS Turn on the device again just before logging in, log into the app by pressing and holding the indicator light Search icon several times and navigate back and forth from the list of devices to the app card , but after a few tries it should reconnect to the correct location. If not, you need to repeat the above steps; Sometimes it can help to run them in a different order, e.g. B. First switch on the GPS device and then call up the software. ***Updated May 22, 2022*** Rating changed to 5 stars. Not that it's ideal, sometimes binding takes a few minutes. Some features of the software, such as B. the number of steps, I can't get it to work. But I am very thankful for this tracker and it keeps track of where my cat is in an area with lots of trees. Then I can search for it when I want to look at it or bring it back in. The collar seems to be holding up pretty well. It just took a little patience to reset for the best. one. Initially I had it as 4 stars. I don't know why he didn't work all day. But I feel better because it works, because it's actually pretty neat. One of my favorite gadgets for my pet. ***Updated May 8, 2022*** I wish the tracker would keep working. Initially the tracker worked great apart from some software features like the daily activity log which never worked. Now the tracker says it's online but stays locked in an imaginary location in my yard. Even though you're walking down the middle of the street with a clear sky overhead, the tracker doesn't update or determine where the device is actually located. It stays fixed in one place. ***First time*** At first the tracker setup seemed complicated and the device wouldn't connect to my phone. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling everything in perfect order did the trick (I had to turn off the device, plug it into USB to charge, wait for it to charge fully, then turn it back on). For more than $100, the harness design should be a no-choke design with a connected bib style. Adjusting the harness so that my cat didn't growl was a little difficult, causing the weight of the tracker to cause it to slump to one side. They give you two seat belts which is nice. But one had a longer strap sewn into the side of the neck, meaning the leash connector was backwards when I flipped it over to fit. I can buy another company's belt and attach the device to it. Everything was well packaged and presented as if I were buying the next best phone. They probably want you to feel like you're buying something special. My cat is supposed to wear this device, not me, so he doesn't care what packaging it's in. While I am charging the device the wireless charger is good and plugs directly into the USB. It was unexpected and I think it's one of my favorite features. At first the tracker appeared almost 0.5 miles away from me. However, it was fixed after going outside and hitting the search tracker. He located the device to within +/- 20 feet with amazing accuracy. Using the tracker on my cat was quite fun, although her back was a little unwieldy. He tried to wallow in the mud but couldn't. After pulling him out dozens of times, first on a leash, and when it was convenient for me, I let him walk alone with the tracker while walking the surrounding trails and walking the streets. Wherever he went, I tried to be within a certain radius (of course I couldn't be with him while he was in the neighboring yards). But I could look closely like we were walking together. (I would scout ahead of time and be aware of any areas you let your cat roam in. The app is basic and there's plenty of room for upgrades, but the main feature showing real-time tracking worked great. 4 stars If they improve the design of the harness and come up with a thinner version that works just as well it will be a 5 star product hit the bottom then it squirms I was able to pull a bit loose and fit it without a growling reaction. He hasn't come out since then, I have to be careful.
