I was excited to try these toddler winter boots on a recent winter trip, but unfortunately they fell a bit short of my expectations. On a positive note, these boots are definitely lightweight and my child had no trouble moving around in them. They are also waterproof, which is a must for any good snowshoe. However, I found that the size was small. My child usually wears a size 2 so I ordered a size 2 toddler/toddler but it was too tight. We ended up having to exchange them for a larger size, which was a bit of a hassle. Another issue I have with these boots is that they don't seem to have enough insulation. My baby's feet were still cold even with thick socks so I'm not sure how well they will hold up in really harsh winter weather. Overall, while these boots are decent, I'm not sure I would buy them again. The sizing issue and lack of insulation are flaws that make it difficult to recommend.
