Review on NiteRider Lumina Dual 1800: Powerful Rechargeable Bike Light for MTB, Road, and Commuter Cycling Safety by Mick Ohlrogge

Archaic charging standard and mediocre battery life at too high a price.

The title speaks for itself. Charging without USB is rather outdated and cumbersome. The battery life is just okay at 1500 lumens, but not outstanding. At an actual 1800 lumens it's almost useless as it only lasts 45 minutes. And overall, I just wasn't impressed with the light output. Compared to other lights I've used with half the lumens, it's not that much of a difference as it's only slightly brighter overall and a bit wider. All in all, it looks like an overpriced flashlight that would be better off replacing it with a more expensive model. Has a Garmin type mount. It's also less than half the size. I would even go so far as to say that the charging port cover is better designed too. The light output is not that wide, but it can be handled. However, where it shines, it is noticeably brighter. I think it's a compromise. I have a feeling this was a much better deal until a better solution comes along.
