Review on JBL Clip 4: Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Waterproof & Dustproof (Renewed) by Vinay Ahuja ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It works, but I don't think I'll be buying it again.

I will confess that JBL performed a miracle by getting the most sound possible from such a small case. Everything else that can be purchased for this price and in this size can sound even worse. In this instance, investing in a gorgeous speaker that can be strapped to a backpack and is even dust- and water-resistant is a wise move. To decide if you are willing to put up with this sound quality or still want to bring something less portable but far better sounding, I recommend listening before purchase. Several of the JBL's models sound very commensurate with themselves. As compactness was crucial to me, there is likely no other option.

Pros
  • A long operating time, a handy carabiner, a lovely appearance (I have an orange one), and what appears to be moisture protection (I haven't tested it, and I hope I won't need to) are all present. Lightweight, small, and portable.
Cons
  • I made the decision to purchase one for myself after reading reviews that praised the superior sound quality. Was dissatisfied. It probably allows you to listen to some very simple music, but everything I tried it with sounded awful. I am aware that this is not an audiophile gadget, and nothing out of the ordinary was anticipated from this column, but I did not anticipate everything being so poor.
