Review on Embroidered Washed Cap for US Coast Guard Veterans by Dexter Rasberry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

perfect for me in the men's category

I proudly served in the Coast Guard many years ago. Whenever I go to Virginia State Hospital, I see other vets wearing department, retiree, or veteran hats. I thought about getting a GC cap because people were asking me which branch I was being served at, but I hesitated because some of these caps sounded (loud) too busy or too flashy with big letters on the side of the Invoice. I did not want that. This cap has the same style/size lettering as our original caps and indeed Vereran has pinpointed exactly where our watch or ship/boat is located. The only thing that bothered me was that it might look cheap in real life or have a really rigid crown structure that our original didn't have. My head is smaller too so I hoped it wasn't one of those bulky beanies. Opened the package and was immediately amazed by the look! It was like my old letters on the cap but with "veteran" also nice it looked like our old caps were phasing out after a few years of fading and salt water splashing, looks like a worn cap but not Fraying or something like that. Fits my little head perfectly, sits low which is how I like it. some light feeling how much i love my hats. People with big heads or thick hair might not like it, or if you're looking for a 'new' cap this might not be for you. My favorite things about it, it fits great and looks more discreet. Overall exactly what I was hoping to find.
