I worked at Bain for 5 years as both an Associate and Manager - it was a great experience in terms of learning what you need to know to be successful in your career. The structure of the program could be improved by adding more hands-on experiences. It's not worth taking if you don't want to learn, but if you are willing to invest some time into it - do it! You will be prepared to compete with other top candidates from the best schools. If you're looking to get a well rounded view of corporate life, this is the place to go. The programs are very structured, which can sometimes be tedious depending on how much training you need. We were able to learn about different industries, and we also got to interact with people from a variety of backgrounds - so it was really beneficial.
