Based on all the other plus size reviews I have an average size 8.5 instead of the 9 I usually get. I had to downgrade the average 8.5 to the wide 8.5; both were too small and as they were very uncomfortable due to the steel toe construction I decided not to order a third time. I found two other shoe options/brands at my local work shoe store that fit 110% better and are 120% more comfortable than Rockports; I bought one of these. Both were just as nice if not better than the Rockports. I only gave 2 stars because they look pretty good. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.
