Review on ๐ŸŽฎ VOYEE Xbox Series X Controller Charger Stand - Fast Dual Charging Station for S/X + 2 Battery Packs for Xbox Series X Controllers (Not for One Series) by David West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Decent controller charger, easy to install (requires some effort), wish it had an outlet

Note this only works for Xbox x series controllers and not before. The first thing I would like to say about this is that you need to put some pressure on the battery when inserting the battery. When tightening, I had to push fairly hard and insert carefully. If you are not careful you can break the latch. The latch is strong but enough pressure and you can break it. However, once on my controller, the battery works great. It looks very well mixed. The color matches my black Xbox One controller so it goes really well with it. You can hardly tell that it is a third party. You might not like other colors as they just look like one black piece on the back of your controller and might not go well together. It comes with two rechargeable batteries. The battery uses gravity to a large extent to hold the controllers in place. There is no magnet or clip to hold the battery in place. This requires the weight of both the controller and the battery to hold the device in place. The nice thing is that it has a Type-C connector on the top of the battery, so you can charge the battery without connecting it to a charger. This is great because I can replace the battery when it's dead and charge it. When fully charged, the battery worked for me for about eight to ten hours. A full charge takes up to five hours. You can use it while charging. You can use it while it's docked, but you have to literally hold the charging pad and controllers at the same time. Instead I chose to just use the Type-C cable directly in the battery. The advantage of this set is that you can keep playing while it is charging. The charging pad uses a Type-C connector and comes without a power bank. You can plug this device directly into your Xbox, but I recommend you use the AC adapter as it offers the best charging. The charging station is arranged at an angle, which is nice. The corner gives you plenty of rear space and doesn't feel very cluttered. It also offers a nice way to place a controller that looks more organized. The charging station also has battery indicator lights. Red is charging, Green is fully charged. The LED light is not too bright. The overall construction is solid. It won't fall off or anything like that. It also doesn't break under pressure. The base is pretty strong. The pad accepts two controllers at the same time. All in all, this is a great product that gives you a rechargeable battery so you don't have to worry about swapping two batteries. It is also nice that you can charge the controller directly via the cable if necessary. This makes it easy to keep playing without having to dock it. The downside is that there is no outlet.
