Knockoff Of The Coleman SunDome Tents

Meant to be a clone of the SunDome tents but also slightly higher. The fabric is thin as is the floor. Make sure to use a ground tarp under the floor. Fabric is supposed to be coated to repel rain, so far have not used in rainy conditions so cannot comment. The height of the tent is nice - it's easy to stand up in the tent. If the wind kicks up it will blow the tent away unless deep stakes are used. I had to take off the rainfly to keep the tent in place without stakes during a windy afternoon. Like the SunDome tents it is very well ventilated - not for use in cold conditions. Basically a warm weather tent.Depending upon requirements, if the price of the tent is at least 25% cheaper than the SunDomes it is probably worth it for people that use the tent 3-5 times a year. If you plan to use it more, spring for the SunDome!

Pros
  • ‎1 year manufacturer
Cons
  • May have issues with pockets or loops breaking off
