I have upgraded my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. When I purchased the boots in Sept I could not testify as to the warmth of the boots. Now that I have worn them in sub zero weather I can truly say that they keep my feet and lower legs extremely warm. The thick fur lining inside the boot goes all the way down to the toe area and it almost feels like you are walking on a cloud. They are truly a great buy and I would highly recommend them, I am only giving the boots 4 stars because I purchased them in Sept and it has not been cold enough to wear them. However, I wear a size 8 shoe and ordered a size 8-1/2 to allow for heavy winter socks and based on the previous reviews I also ordered a narrow. With heavy socks the fit was good. I walked around the house and they were comfortable. The quality and workmanship was good. I will give another review when I have appropriate cold weather for a test.
