Nice set - you get what you pay for

I am very happy with what I got for the price. Yes, these beads are more malleable than real wax. With so many beads for less than $20 I would be very surprised if it was real wax. So if you know this before you buy, don't be disappointed. In fact, plastic beads are more effective for my purposes anyway. I stamp the props and handouts used in my D&D games and the cheap stuff works great and no one who gets my stamps will ever notice the difference. However, if you want a real wax seal, you won't like these beads. Depending on the purpose, they melt well, harden quickly and have a beautiful color. My only criticism of plastic beads is that they don't break. If the seal is broken it will most likely remain intact and just tear the paper apart more than real wax I think. The packaging is fine. The plastic separator for beads is very convenient. My kit wasn't vacuumed like the others, but that wasn't a problem for me. However, like the others, the candles were slightly flattened. Again no problem. I didn't buy this for the candles and you can get a large pack of good quality tea lights anywhere for a super cheap price. Overall I think this is a good set for everyday hobby caulking or to get started. This is a great way to get a bouquet of flowers to start with on a budget.
