We purchased 4 of these lights (2 kits) and installed them on a 12' privacy fence I made across the end of our patio and it also has a 3' wide gate in it. I had originally just installed 2 cheap plastic lights on each side of the gate. It looked cheap and horrible. So, I took them down and put these up on all 4 of the posts. I used 4" posts, but cut some 5 x 5 inch post caps about 7/8 inch thick and mounted them on the post tops first and then used these lights. Then, I made some 3/4 inch trim with a Roman Ogee pattern and installed them below the caps to make a REALLY nice finished look. I had them all charged up and ready to go when I got done installing all the stuff I just spoke of. The first night they came on, we were VERY surprised about the pattern that shown on our wall and around the lights. It's really cool. I am a little upset though. We were charged $32.99 per pair of these lights. I was just looking at them again to add some pictures to this post and the price is $29.99 per pair. How does that happen? That $6 is just as good in my pocket as some company. It might influence my purchasing from this company again no matter how much I like the lights. And, now you only get 3 stars instead of 5. I also threw in a pic of the cute little bunny who now lives behind our air conditioner and watched me build the fence and install the lights.
